Treatment Disclaimer
Important information about our treatments, professional standards, insurance coverage, and your rights.
Last updated: May 2026
Please read this disclaimer carefully before booking or undergoing any treatment at Amina Beauty. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the information set out below.
1. Nature of Treatments
Amina Beauty provides non-surgical cosmetic aesthetic treatments, including High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) skin tightening and body contouring. These are cosmetic treatments and are not medical procedures. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease.
Our treatments are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any underlying health conditions, are taking medication, or have concerns about your suitability for treatment, you should consult a qualified medical professional before booking.
2. Results Disclaimer
Treatment outcomes vary between individuals. Factors including age, skin condition, lifestyle, diet, hydration, hormonal changes, and individual physiological response all influence results. Results shown in before-and-after photographs represent individual outcomes and are not a guarantee of the results you will achieve.
HIFU results typically develop gradually over 8–12 weeks following treatment and may last 12–18 months depending on the individual. No specific outcome, timeline, or duration of results can be guaranteed.
Any verbal or written descriptions of expected results are indicative only and do not constitute a guarantee or warranty of outcome.
3. Treatment Suitability & Contraindications
A pre-treatment consultation is conducted before every session to assess suitability. You must inform us honestly and fully of your medical history, current medications, and any relevant health conditions during this consultation.
HIFU treatments are not suitable for individuals who:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a pacemaker or any implanted cardiac device
- Have metal implants, plates, or pins in or near the treatment area
- Have active skin infections, open wounds, or cystic acne in the treatment area
- Have been diagnosed with active cancer in or near the treatment area
- Have a blood clotting disorder
- Have had dermal fillers recently placed in the target area
- Have any other condition that the practitioner considers may present a risk
Failure to disclose relevant health information prior to treatment releases Amina Beauty from liability for any adverse outcomes arising from that non-disclosure. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information at the time of consultation.
4. Possible Side Effects & Risks
HIFU and aesthetic treatments are non-invasive and generally well tolerated. However, as with any aesthetic procedure, there are possible side effects and risks, which may include:
- Temporary redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treated area, typically resolving within a few hours to days
- Mild tingling or discomfort during treatment
- Temporary bruising in sensitive areas
- Rare: temporary numbness or altered sensation in the treated area
- In very rare cases, blistering or scarring (more likely where contraindications have not been disclosed)
Your practitioner will discuss the risks and any known side effects with you during your consultation. You are encouraged to ask questions before consenting to proceed.
5. Aftercare Compliance
You will be provided with written aftercare guidance following your treatment. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect your results or increase the risk of adverse reactions. Amina Beauty accepts no liability for outcomes that arise from failure to follow the aftercare advice provided.
6. Professional Standards & Qualifications
All treatments at Amina Beauty are carried out by a qualified aesthetic practitioner who holds the relevant professional training and certifications for the treatments performed, including HIFU-specific training and qualification.
We are committed to maintaining high standards of professional practice, client safety, and ongoing education. Our equipment is medically certified and maintained to the standards required for safe use in aesthetic practice. All treatments are performed in a clean, professional environment in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amina Beauty's liability for any claim arising from a treatment shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for that treatment. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from or connected to a treatment, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or psychological distress not directly caused by a proven clinical error.
